Happy Sunday, my friends! How is your weekend going? Mine was lovely and long and I am feeling festive and fall-ish!
P.s. that tree is named Gandalf, he’s the love of my life. Colorado has a magical fall season and even in downtown Denver you can find pure Autumn bliss all around you.
After a bit of a hiatus with some random runs thrown in, I’m back at it and have been soaking up this beautiful time of year.
The holidays are finally upon us and while I do think November is for celebrating Fall and Thanksgiving, I couldn’t help but let a little pre-Christmas spirit slip out and I signed up for a race on December 23!
A Christmas Carol Classic 5k promises to be a festive fun-filled race with cocoa, cider, and of course, original Dickens Carolers! I can’t wait to get out there and burn off a few calories before I set into Christmas dinner a couple days later.
The pups have been enjoying the leaves as well.
Bodie ate this leaf 3 seconds after I took this picture. 🙂
I’ve also been eating some delicious autumn inspired foods lately too. This applesauce with cinnamon and toasted marshmallows was amazing.
I hope you have been enjoying this wonderful time of year and are full of pumpkin spice everything (unless that’s not for you) and are getting excited for Thanksgiving!!

What are you planning to make for Thanksgiving?!
Me: We are planning on cooking turkey in a different way and I’m pretty excited about it!
