Why hello! How was your Sunday? It was beautiful out today and I had a great start to the week. Let’s wrap up the weekend!
We took the dogs to Glendale Farm Open Space for a romp and they had the best time.
Gryff loves making new friends and I think it’s super important that Bodie starts socializing at this early stage of his life. They both did great meeting all the other dogs.
Bodie was obsessed with that little bitty curly dog. I was obsessed with this big guy.
We did a few laps around the large dog park. Gryff always wants to walk the perimeter looking for wildlife in the trees.
We came across these little gems along the way.
Gryff and Bodie had a wonderful timing tiring themselves out.
I went out for a run right before we went to the park so all of us were hot and ready to go home and relax for a bit. Hydration first, of course.
It’s finally getting hot out here and I’m trying to remember that the Dog Days half marathon is going to be a HOT race and it’s good to get a few warmer runs in. My house was around 75 degrees when I did this treadmill run and I was dying for a little breeze, but had to wait around for a delivery.
Then I hit up the grocery store and spent way too much time trying to find a new snack for my long commute. If I don’t eat something on my sometimes two hour drive home, I become the definition of hangry.
I ended up getting the highest calorie bars which are these little oatmeal breakfast square things. I liked the ingredients and wanted something delicious and filling so these are perfect. I’m not super picky about what I eat, but I try to lean towards whole, natural ingredients.
Also, I’ve spent about 3 days wanting this sweater. The Nordstrom half yearly sale ends today so I have some tough decisions to make tonight. 😉
I hope you are feeling rested and refreshed and ready to take on the week! I have been trying to tell myself every morning to get out there and be the best version of myself today. Bodie is always the best version of himself. He’s just #soinspiring
